Uses: Used to prepare rare earth crystal laser materials, up-conversion luminescent materials, fluoride glass optical fibers and fluoride optically active glass. Used in the lighting source to manufacture arc lamp carbon electrodes. It is the raw material for preparing metal yttrium by electrolysis. |

Application: | Yttrium Fluoride is widely applied in metallurgy, ceramics, glass, and electronics. High purity grades are the most important materials for tri-bands Rare Earth phosphors and , which are very effective microwave filters. Yttrium Fluoride also can be used for the production of metallic Yttrium, thin films, glasses and ceramics. |
