Industrial grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate
CAS : 1310-66-3
Molecular formula: LiOH · H2O
Physical and chemical properties: White crystalline powder. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. Can absorb carbon dioxide from the air and deteriorate. It was strongly alkaline. Does not burn, but is highly corrosive. It usually appears as a monohydrate.
Packing: Paper-plastic composite bag lined with 2 layers of PE bag, 25 kg / bag or according to customer requirements.
Uses: To be used as raw materials for the preparation of lithium compounds. Can also be used in metallurgy, petroleum, glass, ceramics and other industries. Battery grade lithium hydroxide is mainly used in the preparation of lithium ion battery anode materials, and it can also be used as an additive for alkaline storage battery electrolytes. Photographic developer, preparation of lithium salt, manufacture of alcohol to resin, catalyst. Reagent for decomposition of oxides and silicates. Used as analytical reagent, photographic developer, and also used in the manufacture of lithium.
Industrial grade monohydrated lithium hydroxide is mainly used in the preparation of lithium-based greases and alkaline battery electrolyte additives, and also used in petrochemical and glass ceramic industries.
