| Black nickel oxide is actually nickel trioxide Ni2O3, also known as high nickel oxide. Black shiny powder. The density is 4.83. Insoluble in water, soluble in sulfuric acid to release oxygen, soluble in hydrochloric acid to release chlorine, and soluble in ammonia. It can also reduce nickel monoxide at 600 ºC. Used as a pigment for ceramics, glass and enamel, and for making nickel powder. By mildly heating nickel nitrate, nickel carbonate or nickel hydroxide. Nickel sulfate solution and sodium carbonate solution are recombined to produce nickel carbonate, which is filtered, concentrated, cooled and crystallized, centrifuged, and dried to obtain a dried nickel carbonate solid, which is then calcined and ball milled to obtain nickel trioxide. |

The former can be divided into nickel-iron method and sulfur-making smelting method, while the latter includes reduction roasting-atmospheric ammonia leaching method and pressurized acid leaching method. |
